EPISODE 9: The Chosen Creator Dallas Jenkins

Host Paul Cardall peels back the heart and purpose of Dallas Jenkins, the creator of the record-breaking, first-ever multi-season series about the life of Jesus. The film and television creator explains how the biblical story of the Feeding of the 5,000 inspired his journey to create what became the largest crowdfunded television project of all time. Dallas gets to the core of his work, as he talks about the making of the show, his life behind the screen, and his fresh approach to telling timeless tales from the Bible. In a heartfelt conversation, Paul and Dallas discuss honoring the women in the Bible, the importance of listening and humility, and allowing yourself to be led by overcoming your own aspirations and goals. All Heart with Paul Cardall is proudly a part of the American Songwriter Podcast Network.

Thank you for the discussion!! As a LDS, I love that there are several denominations being consulted to ensure authenticity. I have really enjoyed the round table discussions - they have increased my knowledge in a way that it might not have been. Because of this great work, I have a new found love of Jesus and his deciples --- well, actually, the people of that day, and how they may have interacted in their personal life. I love that Jesus is shown as a human - having a personality with humor, frustration, honesty, love, and a respect for the talents that his Father had given him. Yes, it is in the scriptures, and Yes, it has been portrayed before, but not like this. Dallas and his wife were chosen for this.. there is no doubt in my mind. They are on a mission, and at this time on this earth, it is truly needed to hopefully change the hard hearts of man. Thank you to the whole cast. Thank you Dallas and your team! And thank you for having him on your show.
